A rich, romantic fall palette set the tone for this unforgettable celebration at Johnson’s Locust Hall Farm. Embracing the depth and warmth of the season, the floral design featured moody tones of deep reds, burgundy, and plum, softened with accents of mauve and champagne to create a layered, elegant blend. The result was a wedding aesthetic that felt both dramatic and refined, perfectly complementing the rustic charm of the farm setting.

His and Hers

Their personal flowers set the tone with an intentional palette throughout every detail. The bridal bouquet was a cascading garden design with trailing greenery, rich burgundy blooms, champagne touches, and soft mauve accents, all tied together with airy seasonal textures. The groom wore a coordinated cluster boutonniere that echoed the darker tones of the palette while keeping a natural, organic feel. Each piece was designed to feel cohesive without being overly matched, allowing the color story to feel effortless and elevated.

The Perfect Fall Ceremony

The ceremony took place beneath the venue’s existing arch, which we transformed into a full floral installation. Layers of deep-toned blooms were designed to climb and cascade across the structure, creating a dramatic focal point for the ceremony backdrop. The combination of burgundy and plum florals with softer mauve and champagne accents brought depth and contrast, while greenery added softness and movement.

To frame the aisle, entrance arrangements were placed to welcome guests into the space. These designs echoed the ceremony arch palette and created a sense of arrival, guiding the eye naturally toward the altar while enhancing the rustic beauty of the farm surroundings.

A Night To Remember At Locust Hall

Inside the reception space, the floral design shifted into a romantic, candlelit atmosphere. Low, lush centerpieces filled the round tables with layers of textured blooms in deep seasonal tones, creating an intimate and moody dining experience.

Long tables were designed with trailing vines of greenery, interwoven with bud vases spaced throughout to create movement and variation across the table. This design added both softness and dimension while allowing the floral story to feel organic and unforced.

At the bar, a coordinating floral arrangement brought in the same palette of rich fall tones, subtly tying the space together without overpowering it.

The wedding cake was finished with thoughtfully placed florals that mirrored the reception design. Deep burgundy and plum blooms with touches of mauve were arranged in a natural cascade, giving the cake a romantic, garden-inspired finish that felt cohesive with the rest of the event design.

One of the standout design elements of the evening was the trailing greenery installation above the dance floor. Lush vines were suspended overhead, creating a soft canopy effect that transformed the space as the night progressed. As the lights dimmed and the celebration moved into dancing, the greenery added depth, texture, and a sense of intimacy to the entire reception atmosphere.

Outside, guests were welcomed into a thoughtfully curated lounge space designed for comfort and connection. Cozy seating arrangements were styled to feel inviting and relaxed, layered with textures that complemented the rustic surroundings of the farm. Subtle floral touches and natural greenery tied the lounge back into the overall wedding design, creating a seamless flow between the celebration spaces.

From ceremony to reception, every floral detail was designed to embrace the richness of fall while elevating the natural beauty of Johnson’s Locust Hall Farm.
