We’ve been getting more and more calls and questions about bouquets and arrangements that are safe for pets, so we wanted to put together a collection of pet-friendly flowers.

Of course, you should always keep any flowers in your house out of reach of your pets, but we know how crafty they are about investigating new things! However, with these flowers, you should be able to rest easier even with the most curious of furry family members.

Roses

Great news – roses are considered safe for pets! You can send this classic flower to your loved ones without worrying about their four-legged friends.

Orchids

Want to add a luxe touch to your flowers? Orchids are safe for pets and a lovely addition to designs!

Gerbera Daisies

Another cheerful classic, gerbera daisies are a great pet-safe flower. Their large heads and long petals are so pretty in an arrangement!

Sunflowers

Speaking of cheerful, what’s happier than a bright yellow sunflower? These beautiful flowers are also safe for pets and make the perfect pop of color.

Asters

Another option for adding some color to your arrangements! Asters are similar to mums and make a great pet-friendly substitute.

Zinnias

Available in a rainbow of colors, zinnias are a great pet-safe flower in the summer and sometimes even into the early fall.

Snapdragons

Snapdragons add height and structure to arrangements. They’re some of our favorites to include and are pet-friendly!

If you’re not sure if a flower you love is toxic to your pets or not, always check before you bring it into your house or near your pet! If you see any strange behavior from your pet, be sure to consult your vet right away to ensure their health and well-being.
